Hi ppl, I've been dating my japanese gal for the past 2 years now. I live in australia and she came down here to do her bachelors degree, besides the fact that she wanted to know more abt aussie culture. She did break up with her ex-bf two months after she landed here, coz of the distance (thats wat she tells me) but she did keep in touch all through. Even met him the last time she went to japan, which was a year back. But denied it when i asked her.

A couple of months back, i started doubting her ecause of her attitude, and checked on her emails. Found out that her ex, who is already dating someone in Japan, is ready to commit to her once she finishes her studies and gets back there (Oh.. she is not too keen on staying back after studies). And she even agreed with him, saying that she couldnt see a future with me.

We have been living together in the same house for the past 16 months now. Our only debate has been over her ex, whom she just wouldnt forget i suppose. Reason being they had a very memorable past, according to her.

And when i caught her with the emails recently, she did cry out of guilt but she still told me she loved me. She went to Japan a few days later and is still there for about a month. A couple of weeks back, she told me we had to split and that she cannot love me anymore. She also told me that she wanted to be on her own and that our seperation had nothing to do with her ex. But i doubt it.

Do you think shes lying about her love fr me? Or is it just more than that? is it really worth getting back to her, if possible, considering the fact that we had a relationship filled with lots of good memories? Its been 13 days now n she still doesnt wana tell me anythin about her love for me. Will it help to talk to her face to face? She is very sweet, but i never saw this dark side of hers.. and i cant think of losing her coz shes the first i really loved. Plz help !
