How to turn a good girl bad

According to the rows of tacky T-shirts at the ­tourist end of Oxford Street, good girls go to heaven while bad girls go to London. Which will probably suit many of the capital’s red-blooded males.

Many admit they hanker after a “naughtier girlfriend”, with more than seven in ten London men saying they have tried to make a good girl naughty, according to a survey by Lynx.

Some of those polled even plumped for reprobates such as Paris Hilton (right) and Lindsay Lohan as their ideal women over, arguably, better-­looking, but better-behaved, celebrities like Keira Knightley and Maria Sharapova.

How to get one: It’s no good starting with a Hilton-type character – that would be like having your first driving lesson in a Ferrari. Practise on an ordinary girl first – albeit one with a glint in her eye.

Pick-up-artist coach Kezia Noble, of PUA Training, has this advice: “Go after shy girls.” She says that women who talk big don’t often follow through on their boasts. “Shy girls keep quiet ­because they are scared that society will see that deviant side to them,” she adds.

If you want to pull a shy lover, however, you need a little subtle psychology. Telling a girl she’s “nice” will make her do exactly the opposite.

“Say something like: ‘I’ve got this thing I really like but I know you are a nice girl so I wouldn’t suggest it to you’,” says Noble. “The phrase ‘nice girl’ conjures up images of being boring and so she’ll want to prove she’s exactly the opposite.”

How to turn her bad: Rather than turning your girlfriend into a nympho yourself, why not get someone else to do it for you? Mary Clegg, who runs workshops in anything from striptease to fellatio at the Amora Sex ­Academy, says although many women often want to tie up their partners or get them involved in a little gentle spanking, they sometimes need to be taught to fantasise.

“Often women have more outrageous fantasies than men realise,” Clegg insists.

They just need a little subtle encouragement – the softly, softly approach can work wonders. “The fellatio workshop, for instance, is all done in the best possible taste,” she explains. “We start them on ice lollies and go from there.”

But Clegg warns you should be careful what you unleash. “I had a woman in her 60s take a class. She wanted to build some stocks in her garden so she could spank her new boyfriend.”

How to keep hold of one: The worst thing you can do is to push your luck, so keep some of the more boyish ­fantasies to yourself, says Noble. “I had an experience with a guy who liked to sing the Batman theme tune in the lead-up to sex,” she confides. One night, though, he said he had a surprise. I got home and he was dressed as Batman. It was ridiculous – that was the point I said goodbye.”
